Junsu took the #1 spot in the Peruvian radio Weekly Music Chart ahead of artists like Justin Bieber, 2NE1 and Big Bang.
If you remember, JYJ shut it down in Peru and Chile when they became the first Korean solo act to perform sell out events on the continent of South America.
Junsu is currently on tour around the world to promote his Tarantallegra solo project, and new dates have been announced.
Sep 6 Mexico City, Mexico
Sep 8 Sao Paulo, Brazil
Sep 10 Santiago, Chile
One of the representatives working with the planners of the concerts reportedly said:
“South [American] fans are going wild with excitement upon hearing the news about Junsu performing here. To be honest, we understand that the South American tour is not as appealing as other options he has in terms of expenses and profits. However, as C-JeS predicts, it is going to have positive effects on Junsu, JYJ, and K-Pop in the Americas.”
