Is Avex’s Matsuura Lying and Misleading the Public about JYJ?

jyj_021

Has avex (Japan) CEO Matsuura lost his mind?  Honestly, the question may be going through the minds of some ‘JYJ vs SM’-observers given a recent spate of translated tweets from the avex CEO.

According to translated reports and tweets from Matsuura, avex is actively seeking to block JYJ from giving a charity concert where all proceeds will go to the devastated victims of the Japanese earthquake/tsunami.

Who the hell purposely tries to stop a charity concert to benefit their own people? The answer to that question appears to be: a bunch of scared, spiteful, hateful execs who don’t want any competition for their own concert featuring artists owned by the company from which JYJ escaped and is currently suing.

Reportedly, there is an upcoming charity concert at which the SM-protected TVXQ2 (Jung and Shim) and others will perform in June.  JYJ putting on a massive concert and receiving positive press in Japan is a threat to avex, especially if JYJ happens to raise more money, or receive more press coverage for their concert.   So avex cannot allow JYJ to perform in Japan… at least not before June.

Rather than behaving like real men, putting aside their disputes and doing something positive — like what JYJ is doing — avex is apparently doing everything in their power to block/stop/sabotage any chance JYJ has to actually perform in Japan and raise money for the victims.

AVEX threatened to sue to stop JYJ from performing charity concert

According to translated reports out of Japan, the company JYJ once accused of coercion has threatened to “take legal actions”  against Yokohama Arena if they allow JYJ to perform a charity event to raise money for the devastated Japanese earthquake victims.  I’m not kidding.

Reports are circulating that avex is trying to stop JYJ from raising money through a concert for Japanese victims, and that they pressured a newspaper to pull a story promoting the charity event.

To be so hateful as to not allow JYJ, a Korean group, to help raise money for your people in the midst of a national tragedy seems totally reprehensible.  The group members have already donated over half a million ($530,000) U.S. dollars for Japanese victims.

Interview with JYJ: Thailand Concert– the Concert in which We Felt the Most Comfortable

(omitted)

The following is the Question and Answer Session with the members of JYJ.

Q: How do you feel after the kick-off concert yesterday?

Yoochun: After it was finished I felt satisfied. During the preparation of the concert there were some parts that were lacking due to my schedule and I did not feel very confident. Normally when there arises occasions which are wanting you feel anxious because you know that such mistakes will happen. Yesterday, however, there were of course mistakes but I think it was a concert that had a high degree of completion.

Junsu: I wish that we had more room time-wise and on that I feel regretful. Because I had been doing musicals and had been preparing for many things there was some stress and I felt pressured. Even though the duration of the preparation was not long, because I had discussed a lot with Jaejoong Hyung on the phone as he prepared for the directing of the tour, and because I had such direct conversation (with the director himself), I rose to the stage with the full understanding of the concert at large. Because I did that, I felt so comfortable. If I recall my memories of kickoff concerts, this was the concert in which I felt the most reassured and comfortable. Among our kickoff performances, this was the best.

JYJ ‘s Jaejoong Wished for Thailand King’s Recovery

JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong visited Thailand’s King in the role of a State Guest to wish his recovery.

Kim Jaejoong visited on March 23rd Siriraz Hospital located in Bangkok, Thailand to wish for the recovery of health for the nation’s King Bhumibol Adulyadej. He went through the prayer ceremony and prayed for the well-being of the nation’s King and People.

Kim Jaejoong’s visit to the hospital materialized through coincidences. He became aware of the news of the King being ill in bed because he saw the yellow bracelets the fans were wearing while he was visiting Thailand for the concert’s promotions and asked for their meaning. He volunteered to visit the King on the spot to the surprise of those around him. The yellow bracelet was a symbol created by the royal family for the unification of Thailand’s citizens. But recently, due to the illness of the King, it is understood as a prayer for his recovery.
