[FANACC] 101016 JYJ NEW ALBUM SHOWCASE IN SINGAPORE

This is my first time writing a fan account so pardon me for missing out points and maybe wrong sequence for I was too excited. Be warned this fan account will be Yoochun biased because I’m a Chunface biased XD so I was staring at him most of the time *SORRY*

We were supposed to go in at 6.30 but ended up going in at 8+ as the boys were still rehearsing at 7. The sound was so loud that I ould feel the door knob trembling while I was in the washroom. Finally we were seated and the showcase started at 9pm.

The boys appeared in WHITE outfits (OMG SO HANDSOME). Yoochun looks so much better in person than in pics(not being biased here really), Jae is handsome jus like how he looks in pics and Junsu is cute jus like how he looks in pics. JaeChun were wearing blazers and Junsu was wearing a sleeveless shirt which looks a lil like apron LoL but he’s body was rocking it.

JYJ’s side has retaliated against SM’s exclusive contract suspension and album sales prohibition injunction that was filed to the Seoul District Courts on the 8th against JYJ’s worldwide album ‘The Beginning’.

SM accused the members of JYJ, Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun and Kim Junsu, of signing onto an exclusive contract with CJeS Entertainment even though their exclusive contract with SM as not ended yet.

Following this, the Korean Federation of Pop Culture and Arts Industry released an official notice to all broadcasting companies, label companies and online music distribution companies asking them to refrain from aiding JYJ in any way for the same reasons.

JYJ had a partial victory from their exclusive contract suspension injunction against SM Entertainment, but as their contract with the agency has not been ended yet, they would be in an illegal dual contract if they have signed an exclusive contract with CJeS Entertainment.

Warner Music Korea is reporting outstanding pre-order sales of the new JYJ album, The Beginning. There were so many preorders that it caused a slight delay in the release of the album.

99,999 limited edition versions, 300,000 special edition versions and 220,000 regular edition versions of their album were pre-ordered by fans all over the world. That’s over 520,000 albums in pre-orders alone.

The general version of the album was released on the 13th with the special edition versions set to go out on Oct 18th.

According to translated reports, Warner Music said, “JYJ who has 520,000 copies just in pre-orders will give the boost that the sluggish music market needs.”

Those who have DISH satellite service, don’t forget to watch SungKyunKwan on KBSWorld!  The other day I saw an advertisement for SungKyunKwan Scandal! [TRANS] 101013 JYJ’s First Showcase: “We Finally Stood On Stage With Mics In Hand” + Q&A


TVXQ members Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu, who formed a male trio JYJ, finally stood in front of their Korean fans for the first time.

At 9PM on the 12th, JYJ held their 「JYJ Worldwide Showcase」 in Hwajeong Gymnasium, Korea University, Anam-dong, Seoul, and showed off their bright and confident images.

On that day, it was the first public exhibit of JYJ’s first worldwide album 「The Beginning」, which the trio had worked together with famous American producers Kanye West and Rodney Jerkins. During the LIVE, 4 songs from that album, as well as the OST song 「Chajatta」 from KBS2’s drama 「Sungkyunkwan Scandal」, were introduced. This album has attracted a lot of attention because it includes songs by each of the trio, composed from when they were teens. Through their powerful voices and refined choreography, one could catch a glimpse of the sincerity and effort the trio have put into this album.
