Korean group Tohoshinki (TVXQ / DBSK / Dong Bang Shin Ki) have added three more Gold singles to their list of achievements in Japan.  The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) has certified that Five in the Black (album), Stand By U (single) and their 3rd Live Tour T releases have all exceeded 100,000 copies. 

Selling 100,000 copies signifies a Gold certification designation in Japan.

The achievement is further proof of Tohoshinki’s continued rise in popularity despite their fight for improved contract terms with their Korean agency SM Entertainment.

AVEX (Japan) certainly isn’t letting any grass grown under TVXQ’s (Tohoshinki /DBSK) feet, unlike their parent company SM Entertainment (Korea).

Despite being in a dispute with SM for improved contract terms, Tohoshinki is hot, hot, hot in Japan.

ALERT: NEW VIDEO! Picture of You (Afterglow)

TVXQ has a never before seen video out for their song Picture of You (Afterglow). Knowing what the guys are going through right now with all the media swirling around them — essentially fighting for better treatment and improved contract terms — the video takes on another more poignant meaning altogether.

Fans of the South Korean supergroup TVXQ (also known as DBSK and Tohoshinki) have come together to raised money to create their own ads of support for the guys. 

The first ads came out August 14 in FOCUS Seoul (page 41). Check out the links and the picture below.

Korean and international clubs are releasing letters of support and other gifts to send directly to TVXQ while they’re fighting for an improved contract with their slave masters talent agency, SM Entertainment (SM).
