Wow. Tohoshinki (TVXQ / DBSK) is continuing to break records and cement their place in music history in Japan. Their Best Selection 2010 album has sold an estimated 413,000 copies for the first week, according to translated reports from Yahoo! Japan.
With this accomplishment, Tohoshinki becomes the first non-Japanese artists in history to sell that many albums in a week. According to the report, they are also the first Asian Male artists to move over 400,000 copies in the first week, outselling Bon Jovi and the Backstreet Boys.

In the beginning he was puzzled for it was his first solo photo shoot. As the camera’s shutter echos his movement and expression becomes as if he was on stage.

As he heard these words his face expression loosened and looked shy as he smiled. “I’m not really an aggressive person so i rarely open up to people i meet for the first time. The more I spend time with someone the more I can naturally get close too. It goes the same for girls. Before approaching them immediately I ask people around me ‘what kind of person is she?’ I have to research and then i come up with a plan. News is circulating online that TVXQ’s Yunho will take part in the posthumous concert tribute to the late singer Michael Jackson.
According to the translate reports, Yunho (Yoonho) is among the list of artists from around the world who will learn the songs and dances for performances of the show in various countries. Yunho is said to be participating in the one scheduled for Yongsan War Memorial Peace Plaza in Seoul, South Korea.
As part of his training, Yunho is said to be traveling to the United States, the report says.

The first day sales were astonishing with over 228,000 albums sold. WIth these figures, Tohoshinki becomes the first non-Japanese artist to enter the Top 10 list of highest selling first day album sales in Japan. At #6, this puts them in the company of established Japanese artists like Exile and Mr. Children.
There were also reports of very long lines in various retail stores around Japan full of fans waiting to get their hands on the album.
Max Matsuura, the president of AVEX (Japan), writes in his blog today, “Moreover, one thing that really caught my attention is that a lot of female fans were lining up in front of CD shops at noon, but it changed drastically at night, as a lot of male customers were having trial listening of Tohoshinki’s best album.”
