SM Cancels China Concert, Blames 3 members; fans are furious at SM

TVXQ

Because Junsu, Yoochun and Jaejoong didn’t bow down and kiss the ring of SM’s CEO, the company has canceled the ShenZhen concert which was supposed to happen in China this month.

SM had given the three members an ultimatum: either do whatever we say, drop the lawsuit and continue to be enslaved, or else.  Well the guys took the ‘or else’ option.

Now SM has taken it upon themselves to cancel the concert while trying to blame the three members for it.

For the record, all members of TVXQ want to continue to perform together and publicly stated through their attorney that they would perform at all scheduled activities.

They were also excited about the upcoming concert based on statements they made previously. SM is the one who suspended all of their group activities in a short-sighted attempt to blackmail the 3 members into giving up.

SM – TVXQ Current Exclusive Contract Released TRANS

We will reveal the exclusive contract SM Entertainment holds with its celebrities. Although this contract is the one between TVXQ and SM, it can be inferred that it is almost a basis contract for all the others. Also, as SM stated that the income division for TVXQ was the best they offered, one can surmise that the content of the contracts of other groups such as Girls’ Generation, Super Junior etc. will be worse.

In the contract, it states that TVXQ must pay for all of the expenses required for their activities and this implies the wages for their managers and road managers. “TVXQ must pay for their travel fees and rent fees, as well as their meals, make up and coordinators’ wages, dance crew and any other stage crew costs. They must also pay for the wages of their managers’ monthly wages (The wages of the manager is 800,000 per month and the wages of road managers is 600,000 per month, and this increases by 10% every year.)”

SM Busted by CreBeau, Shown to have Lied about CreBeau Involvement?

The President of CreBeau is fighting mad at “ridiculous” claims SM has made against his company. Now comes the first of what could be a lot of proof disputing the way in which SM has sought to blame CreBeau for the ‘SM vs TVXQ’ fight.

SM claimed they were deceived by Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu, and accused them of pretending to go on vacation when they actually went to a CreBeau orientation.

SM has apparently lied to the public. There’s no other way to say it.

Pictures have surfaced of TVXQ’s manager going with Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu to China for that CreBeau orientation.   There’s no way SM wouldn’t have known about this trip if the SM-appointed-manager was there with them.

The photos actually show TVXQ’s SM manager at the CreBeau event!

CreBeau said before that the trip was approved by SM. Of course, the pictures of TVXQ’s manager accompanying the three young men to China confirms CreBeau’s word.

CreBeau President Fights Back after Getting Blamed by SM for TVXQ Dispute

The CEO of CreBeau, Kang Suk Won, responded to public attacks from TVXQ’s Korean management company in an interview. He wants SM to apologize and to stop distorting the relationship (or lack thereof) between 3 members of TVXQ and CreBeau.

SM completely pushed the blame for the dispute between itself and TVXQ onto an investment the three guys (Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu) made into the company.

Kang stated the obvious by saying the dispute between SM and TVXQ has absolutely nothing to do with CreBeau.

Back in May of this year, Kang says CreaBeau branch of China was visited by representatives of SM who then approved the involvement of the three members, and that SM is distorting the truth after the fact.

SM Tries to Stop TVXQ, Suspends Group Activities

dbsk003
Those familiar with the dispute say that TVXQ’s Korean management company, SM, is trying to come between the members because of a scathing decision from Seoul District Court recently.

In a translated report of an SM statement released today, SM is completely disallowing any of the members of TVXQ (Tohoshinki / DBSK) to do any activities as a group and is requesting the money which could have been made by the group were they allowed to perform.

No, you’re not dreaming. They really are stopping any TVXQ activities AND wanting somebody to give them the money they could have been making were they allowed to perform.  It is one of the most asinine statements any management company has made.

There is no doubt now that SM is showing the world just why TVXQ is having this dispute with them in the first place. Rather than treating their artists like contract workers, many people feel that SM really are treating the members like property.
